Ism-atex training level 1 is structured as follows:

Level 1M or 1F: 1 day - Level 1M and E: 1.5 days

Level 1M

  • Overview of methods of non-standard electric protection and maintenance of equipment rules
  • Non-electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres

1/2 day: Common Part E and M

  • Markings materials
  • Atex rules intervention
  • Reviews initial enforcement officers Level 1M (mechanical)

Level 1E

1/2 day: Part I

  • Overview of standardized modes of electrical protection and rules of construction and maintenance
  • electrical installations in potentially explosive atmospheres half day: Common Part E and M
  • Markings materials
  • Atex rules intervention
  • Reviews initial enforcement officers level 1E (electric)

In the case of Level 1 training O & M must follow the three 1/2 days Part M, Part E and Part E and M. The common certificate will be issued ismatex1 E / M
Ism-atex training level 2 is structured as follows:
Level 2M or 2F: 3 days - Level 2M and E: 4 days

2M level

Day 1: common part E and M

  • General information about the phenomena of explosion of gas and dust
  • Regulations applicable to users of materials Atex
  • (ATEX Directive 1999/92/EC)
  • Regulations concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in explosive atmospheres (ATEX Directive 94/9/EC)

3rd Day Same 2M

In the case of the training level 2 E & M must follow the three 3 days Part M, Part E on the 2nd day. The certificate will then be issued ismatex 2 E / M
